Is there parking near your shop?

Parking in Edinburgh has become a big issue recently but we feel the changes introduced in the Haymarket area provide our customers with several excellent options.

Directly outside the shop you can stop for 10 minutes in the loading bays provided. This area is highlighted by a dashed red line.

There is Free Parking for up to 30 minutes in the side streets on either side of the shop. In Rosebery Crescent the first parking space on the left and the first two on the right are free for half an hour. In Coates Gardens the parking bays on the left and right are also free for half an hour. These parking bays are marked with a dashed white line.

The remainder of both these streets are divided into ‘metered’ and ‘resident only’ parking and there are always spaces available. The cost is 40p per 15 minuets for a maximum of 2 hours. These are marked by white dashed lines and are sign posted accordingly.

An area of West Coats road (out side the Donaldson School) provides long and short term parking for free. On the lane exiting Edinburgh you can park all day in the ‘Greenways’ parking bays, identified by the dashed red line, between 10am and 4pm and on the lane entering Edinburgh you can park for up to one hour in the ‘Greenways’ parking bays, identified by the dashed red line, for free between the same times.

There are also several ‘Park and Ride’ schemes in operation on the outskirts of Edinburgh with routes passing our shop.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Option 1 - SagePay Secure On-Line Card Payments

We can accept Credit and Debit cards online via our 100% secure Payment Portal operated by SagePay. SagePay uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to help protect user information against unauthorised access from third parties, loss and fraud. In addition, when a payment is sent using SagePay, the recipient (ourselves) won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit/debit card or bank account number. Their servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, meaning customer information is available only to authorised computers.

Option 2 - PayPal Secure On-Line Card Payments

We now accept payment via PayPal as one of our on-line payment options.  PayPal lets you pay in a few easy clicks. There is no hassle of getting out your wallet or typing your card details into different sites. All you need is your email address for quick, easy payment. Additionally, as a third Party payment gateway PayPal protects your financial details so you don't have to share them online. They also protect your purchases so just in case there's a problem, you can easily get your money back.

Option 3 - Gift Vouchers

We accept most prize vouchers issued by golf clubs. Any voucher supplied by your countries official golf union i.e. SGU, SLGA, EGU, etc can be redeemed. To redeem vouchers please call us on 0131 313 4446 and we will process your order over the phone. Once we have received the vouchers we will dispatch your order.

What is your privacy policy?

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy, the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

If you have any questions/comments about privacy, you should email us.

What security does your site use?

Our site uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and 128-bit encryption technologies to ensure your details are safe when you purchase on-line. These two technologies make buying on-line with your plastic card safer than every before. In fact many experts suggest it is safer using your card on-line with a trustworthy retailer that follows secure trading guidelines, than in many shops and restaurants across the world.

SSL technology makes it virtually impossible for a third party to view the information you are inputting in to a form. You will notice when using our site that just before you are required to input your card information you are taken to our 'secure server' and a 'Gold Padlock' appears at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates you are in a secure area. When you have completed this form and you submit your order, all your information is then encrypted using 128-bit encryption technology (industry standard) and sent to our mail box. This information can only be decrypted by us as no one else has the key to unscramble the data. This means we are the only people that can read the information you send.
